Warm & Wonderful Chai Honey

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup Raw Honey
- 2 tbsp Cinnamon powdered
- 1 1/2 tsp Ginger powdered
- 1/2 tsp Clove powdered
- 1/2 tsp Allspice powdered
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powdered
- Optional
- 8 drops Medicine Flower Cinnamon Flavouring Oil
- 8 drops Medicine Flower Dark Chocolate Flavouring Oil

Instructions
- Place raw honey into a sterilized jar or measuring cup and place in a double boiler over low heat.
- Gently heat for fifteen minutes or until honey is warm and easy to mix. Do not overheat honey.
- In a small mixing bowl, add the cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, clove, allspice, and nutmeg, and mix well. Ensure there are no lumps.
- Remove honey from heat. Add the spice mix to the warm honey and stir until well blended. If using organic flavouring oils, add now and mix well.
- Pour into a glass jar (with a spatula and funnel if necessary).
- Seal the jar, label, and store in a cool, dark place for approximately two weeks for flavours to meld.
Recipe Notes
Add 1 tsp of Chai Honey to 250 mL hot water, stir and enjoy.
May also be used to enhance a cup of chai, on toast, pancakes, or stirred into herbal elixirs.
