Ingredients

• 1 1/2 tbsp Emulsifying Wax
• 6 tbsp Refined Avocado Oil
• 3/4 tsp Beeswax
• 1 tbsp Vegetable Glycerin
• 5 1/2 tbsp Earth’s Aromatique Lavender Hydrosol Rose can also be used.
• 2 drops Rose Essential Oil
• 5 drops Vanilla Essential Oil
• 3 drops Cocoa Absolute Essential Oil
• 1/8 tsp Tinosan * acts as a preservative.

Instructions

1. In a clean double boiler, add beeswax, emulsifying wax, and avocado oil. While that melts, in another pot, gently heat hydrosol and glycerine until just warm. Do not overheat.
2. When oils are melted, remove both from stove.
3. Slowly pour the warm liquid into the oil mixture, and blend with a stick blender until mixture is smooth and creamy. A whisk may be used if stirred vigorously every 2-5 minutes until the mixture is completely cooled and thoroughly emulsified. If mixture is cool and not completely emulsified, you may re-melt the mixture on low, indirect heat and try again.
4. Add essential oils and Tinosan.
5. Use immediately, or scrape into jar with a spatula, cap and label. Use within 6 months.
