Ingredients

• 2 cups Epsom Salts
• 1/2 cup Baking Soda
• 1/2 cup Citric Acid
• 1/4 cup Castile Soap or your favourite bubble bath
• 2 tsp Carrier Oil of choice
• 20 drops Essential Oil of Choice (Suitable for Skin) kid-safe; call 780-433-1090 x4 to speak with a botanical consultant about options
• sprinkle Butterfly Pea Flower or Mica Powder, or Soap Colorant (optional)

Instructions

1. Mix the dry ingredients (powders) together (Epsom salt, baking soda, & citric acid). Stir until combined. Add Mica, if using.
2. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients together (Castile soap/bubble bath, carrier oil, and essential oils and liquid colourants, if using – see notes for Butterly Pea powder). Combine well.
3. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently stir. The mixture will be activated and foam slightly.
4. Once combined, pour onto parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Spread out the mixture as best you can, then leave to air dry.
5. Drying may take up to 3 days. (You can place trays out of sight – waiting can be hard!)
6. Once dry, break up the sheets into smaller pieces. A pastry scraper, butter knife, or similar tool can be helpful if the mixture is too hard to break by hand.
7. Transfer to a storage container(s) when completely dry.
