Instructions
- Heat water to point before boiling.
- Place Mate leaves in an unbleached tea filter. Add enough hot water that the water level reaches about 3/4 of the way up the cup, and steep leaves for 6 minutes. This will be an extremely strong brew, but remember there are other ingredients in the blend. Remove tea filter.
- While Mate is steeping, steam your milk/milk substitute. If you do not have a steamer, heat milk on stove and whisk. This will taste slightly different, but will have a similar effect...
- Add stevia to the milk/milk alternative, and stir well.
- Add steamed milk to the infused mate, and enjoy!

Recipe Notes
For a bit of a minty variation (that really is quite lovely), you can reduce the "Café Mate" blend to 1.5 tbsp., and add 1.5 tbsp of "Minty Mocha" mate blend from Kolya's Apothecary.
