The Energized 7 Day Cleanse–Detoxing made easy!

Energizing Detox in 4 Simple Steps

Energizing Summer Cleanse

WHAT IS A DETOX?
A detox helps to “jump start” the body by helping you to cleanse a little more efficiently. If you have been carrying around a few extra unwanted pounds or you want to increase your energy, then this 7 Day Cleanse may be just what you need!

We’re going to ease you in to a gentle, yet effective cleanse.
This is a 7 day cleanse with 4 easy steps!

STEP 1
Sip detox tea.
Choose the tea that is best suited for your body type. There are two options:
Dandelion Tea
Tea Option 1: Slimming Tea
This tea contains senna, which is something that will help with constipation on a short term basis. Senna will make sure your bowels are moving while you are detoxing! This is important, as you do not want to begin to cleanse your body without proper elimination!
Tea Option 2: Dandelion Root Tea
This tea is for those who are already eliminating properly, i.e. a minimum or 1 healthy bowel movement every single day. Dandelion is a bitter tea and will therefore get your digestive juices flowing! This stimulates your system to cleanse at a deeper level. Your liver is just waiting for some robust dandelion saturation!

ACTION REQUIRED
Drink 4 cups of whichever tea you have decided is best for you every day for 7 days.

STEP 2FibreSmart
Fibre Smart! More than just a fibre…this fibre has additional ingredients to help soothe and heal an unbalanced digestive track.

Once those toxins begin to get stirred up, they need to get the heck out of the body! Fibre Smart is a supplement that will help to latch on to those unwanted toxins and move them out! Good riddance!

ACTION REQUIRED
Take 4 capsules per day with a large glass of water! Fibre needs something to expand into, and water is there to help it work perfectly!

STEP 3
Dry BrushingDry Brush Merben
Enter, the Lymph System!
Let’s keep this simple. The lymph system is a huge part of cleansing. It is an astounding network of fluid and glands -among other pieces of this pertinent puzzle – that can aggressively cleanse your body of waste. I like to visualize this system as a lacy network flowing beneath the skin. Unlike the circulatory system, the lymph system carries toxins away from the tissues. Some key symptoms of a sluggish lymph system can include cellulite, skin problems, and muscular aches.

Dry brushing is a technique used to enhance lymph movement!

ACTION REQUIRED
Every day before your shower, spend 5-10 minutes, literally brushing the skin on your body. It’s that easy. A handout will be provided to those who would like all of the details on how to do this most effectively.

*For those extra adventurous types….
If you want to take your dry brushing to the next level, then we suggest using some specific essential oils afterwards that will assist in further stimulating the lymph. All you need to do is combine one ounce of carrier oil with approximately 10-15 drops of your favourite essential oils from the list below.

Black pepper Ginger Cypress Cedar Atlas Juniper

ACTION REQUIRED
After your shower, use this beautiful fragrant oil as you would any moisturizer to keep your body invigorated throughout the day!
We can show you how to make this mix in our Apothecary! Just ask!

STEP 4
Epsom Salt foot soak.
Feet in Bowl 6Perhaps the easiest and loveliest step of all!
Your tender tootsies deserve some love. Our Epsom salts (Magnesium Sulfate Heptahydrate) are used in a foot bath for you during this week of cleansing.

The sulfates in Epsom salt help flush toxins from the cells, easing muscle pain and helping the body to eliminate harmful substances.

So put your tired feet in a footbath each night during this cleanse for some relaxation …and potentially a better sleep!

ACTION REQUIRED
Use a container that is big enough to hold your feet comfortably. Dilute ½ cup of Epsom Salts in warm water and soak feet for 20 minutes.

Although this cleanse is just 4 steps, we do recommend doing your best to eat “clean” while detoxing.
• Try to eliminate sugar, alcohol, and junk food.
• Include more greens; eating green vegetables as half of your diet during this time would really bump up your results!
• It’s very important to include a lot of water during any detox…or better yet, try infusing your water with fruit such as fresh/frozen berries, lemon & lime wedges, mint & cucumber.

This cleanse is meant to be somewhat simple, so be gentle with yourself during this time and do your best! Your body will thank you!
